I’m a copywriter and editor based in the San Francisco Bay Area. I’ll help you perfect the message you send out into the world using the written word—the most powerful tool known to humankind.
To me, the written word is not markings on a page, but the ability to enter another’s world, to share in their perspective. We’ve all, at least once, had the feeling of transformation after reading an unforgettable paragraph. That is what I aim to do for your business.
Previously, I worked as a science communicator for the Lawrence Berkeley National Lab in Berkeley, California, and on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. My work has been featured on KPFA Radio, The San Francisco Chronicle, The Modesto Bee, The Proceedings of the Bay Honors Consortium, and Energies.
I obtained my bachelor’s degree with honors in environmental sciences and minors in journalism and public policy from the University of California at Berkeley.
Like science writing and journalism, copywriting requires distilling complexities, facts and strategies into focused stories that capture a customer’s attention and leave them craving more.
Transitioning to San Francisco has been exciting and rewarding. It’s empowering to feel the power of words enable business leaders to communicate their message to clients.
Recently, I spent five weeks traveling in Europe. It fed my soul to trace the paths of great leaders from centuries past, wandering through Athens remembering the words of Socrates and experiencing Freud’s hideout in London were just two of my literary pilgrimages.
There are an estimated 72-150 million books in the world, and I plan on reading as many of those as I can. Meanwhile, I look forward to using my love for the written word to help your business grow.
